DirectTV exceeds expectations!

I recently cancelled my cable because the service was not that great and my monthly bills were expensivo!

The decision to cancel cable meant that I was in the market for a new T.V. service.

......And the decision is.... DirectTV.

I am so pleased with the service so far. The technician was very knowledgeable on the system and super nice. He took time to show me how to work the remote and to make sure I knew all of the new features I have.

DirectTV was such an upgrade for me. I have had basic cable and no DVR features. I was able to get more channels and a top of the line DVR for a cheaper amount from what I was paying! With DirectTV I am going to save about 30 t0 40 bucks a month! WooHOOOOO!

DirectTV you just got free advertising! :-)

If there is anyone out there reading....let me know what you think about your T.V. service?

That's all for today!

God Sized Moments

Recently a good friend of mine gave me a EvangaCube. I placed the EvangaCube on my desk at school. The kids have been interested in the EvangaCube. They like to turn it and flip through the different pictures. Today, a third grade boy grabbed the EvangaCube off of my desk. He was flipping through the EvangaCube when another boy walked up beside him. My third grader then began to share the gospel with the other child while he was flipping through the EvangaCube. It was a such a powerful moment to hear him explain the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. God is so good and it is awesome to see him work through the life of a child! Absolutely the best part of my day!

Meetings, Meetings, Meetings, and Dinner

Today was a day full of unexpected but good meetings. I met with Lisa our school accountant and discussed budget needs for the summer program. I met with our headmaster this afternoon to continue to discuss camp and make some decisions. I then had another budget meeting after school today. My meetings were good and I felt like we got a lot accomplished for summer and next school year. I can see everything coming together. We are getting so close to putting everything open to the public and for registration. The busy summer will be here before we know it.

After school today I had the opportunity to go to dinner with an old friend of mine who is coming to SEBTS to study in the DMin program. It was good to catch up and talk about old high school friends and memories. It is neat to see what God is doing through the life of he and his wife, and to see the journey that the Lord has brought them through. It is also amazing to see how the Lord brought the three of us from meeting in middle school to seminary grads and now working in ministry. I praise God for what HE has done in my friends life and bringing him to do doctoral work.

Through seminary I met several people who are now scattered throughout the world working as pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries. What a blessing to have friends serving throughout the world in ministry! I never could have imagined knowing someone on just about every continent and every state in the U.S.A.. Only God could orchestrate such a great thing!

Praise HIM!

Building Websites is NOT for Sissies!

As I am gearing up for the summer program, I have been working on various promotion tasks for the summer camps. One thing that I have desired is to complete is a website that enables parents to register online. I think that it will make the registration process so much easier.

Well, big bad Bonnie decided that since she took a web design class in HIGH SCHOOL that she could build such a basic web page and it would be easy as ABC. I am hear to say YEAH RIGHT! I downloaded my free trial of dreamweaver. I opened it up thinking that I could get it done throughout my day. Well to my surprise dreamweaver was a completely new language that Bonnie Kathryn Hunter did not speak! I have much more respect for web designers now!

The website task has not been completed, but I have full faith that the Lord will point me in the right direction of the person that can help me create a professional looking website that will enable hundreds of parents to enroll their child into summer camp.

Yes you read me right... I said hundreds. As the date gets closer to the time where we will open the first summer camp week, I am getting knots of nervousness in my stomach. I have been praying that we will average at least a hundred or more campers per week. I know that God will send the right children and the right amount of interns to meet our budget needs.

Things I am praying for: Website, Parents of summer Campers, summer campers, Family of Opal McWhorter, Peter and Jessica Cooke, My family, friends, and students, Raleigh Road Baptist Church.

Love,

Bonnie Kathryn
